Summer is a single channel video work screened at Federation Square in 2021 as part of Master of Media at RMIT.

 

Summer explores the growing frustration and despair that is increasingly associated with the hotter months.

 

Drawing on Australian nationalist iconographic imagery and personal anecdote, the work configures a queering of the hottest months of the year.
